Difference between Brushless Motor and Brushless Motor
1. Scope of application:
Brushless motor: Usually used in equipment with high control requirements and high speed, such as aeromodelling, precision instruments and instruments, which have strict control of motor speed and high speed. Carbon brush motor: Usually the power equipment uses brush motor, such as hair dryer, factory motor, household lampblack machine and so on. In addition, the speed of series motor can reach a high level, but because of the wear and tear of carbon brush, the service life of brushless motor is not as good as that of brushless motor.
2. Service life:
Brushless motor: Usually the service life is in the order of tens of thousands of hours, but the service life of brushless motor varies greatly due to the different bearings.
Carbon brush motor: Usually the continuous working life of brush motor is from hundreds to more than 1000 hours. If it reaches the limit of use, it is necessary to replace the carbon brush. Otherwise, it is easy to cause wear and tear of bearings.
3. Use effect:
Brushless motor: usually digital frequency conversion control, strong controllability, from a few revolutions per minute to tens of thousands of revolutions per minute can be easily realized.
Carbon brush motors: Carbon brush motors usually work at a constant speed after starting, speed regulation is not easy, series motor can also reach 20,000 rpm.
But the service life will be shorter.
4. Energy saving:
Relatively speaking, the brushless motor controlled by frequency conversion technology will save much more energy than the series motor, the most typical of which is the frequency conversion air conditioning and refrigerator.
5. In the future maintenance, the carbon brush motor needs to be replaced. If it is not replaced in time, it will cause damage to the motor. Brushless motor has a long service life, usually more than 10 times as long as brush motor. But if it is broken, it needs to be replaced, but the daily maintenance is basically unnecessary.
6. Noise has nothing to do with whether there is a brush motor or not. It mainly depends on the coordination of bearings and internal components of the motor.
