Common Knowledge of Brushless DC Motor
(1) Before disassembly, the dust on the motor surface should be cleaned by compressed air and the surface dirt should be wiped clean.
(2) Choose the working place where the motor disintegrates and clean up the scene environment.
(3) Familiar with motor structure characteristics and maintenance technical requirements.
(4) Prepare the necessary tools (including special tools) and equipment for disintegration.
(5) In order to further understand the defects in motor operation, an inspection test can be done before disassembly if conditions permit. For this reason, the motor is put on load to test and rotate, the temperature, sound and vibration of each part of the motor are examined in detail, and the voltage, current and speed are tested, then the load is disconnected, and a no-load inspection test is done separately, the no-load current and loss are measured and recorded.
(6) Cut off the power supply, remove the external wiring of the motor, and make a good record.
(7) Select the appropriate voltage Megohmeter to test the insulation resistance of the motor. In order to compare the insulation resistance values measured during the last overhaul to judge the trend and insulation state of the motor insulation, the insulation resistance values measured at different temperatures should be converted to the same temperature, generally to 75 C.
(8) Test absorption ratio K. When the absorption ratio is greater than 1.33, it shows that the insulation of motor has not been damped or the degree of damp is not serious. In order to compare with the previous data, the absorption ratio measured at any temperature should also be converted to the same temperature.
